Lewisville ISD Announces Angeli as Principal of New PreK Center on Mill Street
Lewisville ISD announced on April 13 the appointment of Curt Angeli as the principal of LISD’s new PreK center located on Mill Street in Lewisville. Angeli joins LISD from Wisconsin, having served in public education for 35 years, offering transformative change in K-12 environments and shaping high-performing school cultures.
“I am honored to join Lewisville ISD and help lead the opening of this new PreK center,” Angeli said. “Early childhood education lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning, and I am excited to partner with families, staff and the community to create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.”
Angeli began his career in 1990 as an elementary school teacher in Gillett Public School District in Wisconsin. During that time, he also served as a leader trainer at the Wisconsin Regional Teen Institute for the middle and high school levels, delivering programs that built leadership, communication and teamwork skills amongst teens. Angeli also served as a Summer School Principal and Summer school teacher for Shawano Community School District until he transitioned to Principal at Gillett Elementary in 2014.
“Mr. Angeli brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to student success that will be instrumental as we continue to reimagine our PreK program within the Lewisville feeder pattern,” LISD Superintendent Dr. Lori Rapp said. “His leadership style, focus on culture and proven ability to build strong teams make him an excellent fit for this important role in our district.”
Angeli earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin and a Master’s of Arts in Education from Viterbo University.
